Teva Pharmaceuticals former SVP and global innovative medicine R&D leader joins Remepy's executive management team as the Company prepares to commence Phase III of its Hybrid Drug™ for Parkinson's disease and expand its Hybrid Drug pipeline
NEW YORK, NY September 16, 2026 – Remepy, the pioneer of Hybrid Drugs™, today announced the appointment of Eran Harary, MD, as Chief Medical Officer, effective October 1, 2026. Dr. Harary joins Remepy's executive management team and will advance the Company's clinical development strategy, trial execution, and medical and regulatory engagement across its Hybrid Drug pipeline.
“We are creating a new category of drugs, and the regulatory environment is evolving to support it. Bringing Eran on board at this pivotal stage ensures we have the leadership in place to shape the future of Hybrid Drugs and bring this new class of medicine to patients through the standard prescription model,” said Michal Tsur, PhD, and Or Shoval, Co-CEOs of Remepy. “Eran brings a rare combination of early and late-stage drug development expertise, deep neuroscience experience, and a longstanding commitment to patient-centered innovation. His belief that clinical development should be designed around patients perfectly aligns with Remepy's approach to Hybrid Drugs. Eran is the ideal leader to help shape our next chapter, as we prepare our Hybrid Drug™ for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease for its Phase III trial, and further expand our pipeline.”
“For decades, we've invested billions in optimizing drugs while overlooking the enormous therapeutic value of non-pharmaceutical interventions that potentially add to the beneficial effect of the molecule alone,” said Dr. Eran Harary. “Today, advances in clinical development, digital technologies, AI, and an evolving regulatory landscape make it possible to unlock the value of combining drugs with digital therapeutic interventions. Remepy has built the first platform to do this with scientific rigor, and I believe Hybrid Drugs will become an important new category of medicine. I'm excited to join the team as the Hybridopa program, enters Phase III and help bring Remepy's broader vision to patients.”
Dr. Harary joins Remepy from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and Global Head of Specialty R&D, overseeing programs in neuroscience, immunology, and other specialty areas, and, most recently, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Early Clinical Development. Earlier in his tenure at Teva, he led the Neurology and Psychiatry therapeutic area. With more than two decades of experience across the full drug development lifecycle, Dr. Harary has contributed to numerous programs from concept through approval and post-approval. Among them, he led UZEDY® (TV-46000) through approval, played a pivotal role in advancing Teva’s long-acting injectable programs, including olanzapine LAI, contributed to the development of AUSTEDO®, and helped secure and advance promising therapies in movement disorders and immunology. He was also instrumental in shaping Teva’s R&D strategy for AI, machine learning, big data, and emerging technologies. Earlier in his career, Dr. Harary held senior roles at Lundbeck, Pfizer, and Alcobra Pharma. He is a certified psychiatrist and earned his MD from Tel Aviv University’s School of Medicine.
Hybrid Drugs are a new class of drugs that combine prescription medicines with personalized, AI-driven therapeutic apps, integrating pharmacology with adaptive physical, cognitive, and behavioral interventions into a single treatment delivered through the standard prescription model. The Hybridopa program has generated encouraging Phase IIa clinical results, supported by peer-reviewed publications in Brain Communications and npj Parkinson's Disease describing the biological mechanisms underlying the Hybrid Drug clinical effect. Global Phase III development is expected to commence in Q4 2026.
